Accounts Payable Associate

Our client in the healthcare industry is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (A/P) Associate to join their team for a 3-month opportunity, located in downtown Toronto. The A/P Associate will be responsible for: processing of all accounts payable transactions; preparing invoice batches and ensuring appropriate coding and supporting documentation. You will also provide support and information to vendors, suppliers, and employees; prepare and distribute cheques as required; and maintain filing system of all financial documents, ensuring confidentiality and security.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with full accounts payable cycle. You will also have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a professional manner. Additionally, you will have strong technical skills and experience with a system conversion or upgrade would be an asset.
