COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER (GOVERNMENT)

Our Interim Staffing Division supports clients across the province in hiring administrative, professional and executive talent in such areas as administrative support, program management, health care, communications, human resources, finance, information technology and policy development.
We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic Communications Officer for an exciting interim opportunity with our client in the public sector, located in Toronto. You will have opportunity to work “hands on” in the creation of communications content for a high profile government organization. You will be providing direct support to develop the content of their website, contacts, databases, and print publications.
The right candidate will bring strong communication (oral and written) and strategizing skills to develop and pitch media ideas within a dynamic team environment.
- Relevant degree in a field such as communications, English, marketing;
- Demonstrated experience in a corporate communications;
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver information tailored to different audiences;
- Detail oriented with an ability to work well within a team environment
