Financial Administrative Assistant

Our public sector client is looking for a Financial Administrative Assistant to join their team for an interim opportunity, located in downtown Toronto. This position requires candidates to provide effective and efficient administrative support in a financial capacity. These duties include managing the financial administration and budgets for client accounts and cases, reconciling invoices, processing payments, and arranging services. In addition, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, inputting and updating client account records.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience providing financial administrative support, Finance, and/or Accounting experience;
  • You have experience processing invoices a and/or bank reconciliations;
  • You have experience handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable;
  • You have stellar interpersonal and communication skills, and you can provide support to customers and your teammates;
  • You have strong attention to detail and proficient with Microsoft Office;
  • You are a master at time management and being a multi-tasker, and you are able to take on demanding tasks and meet organizational quality and performance standards.
