Our Interim Staffing Division supports clients across the province in hiring administrative, professional and executive talent in such areas as administrative support, program management, health care, communications, human resources, finance, information technology and policy development.

Senior Financial Analyst

We are currently seeking two Senior Financial Analysts to join our health sector client. These positions are interim in nature and are located in Kitchener. If you’re interested in gaining more experience within the broader public sector, please apply!

Duties:

  • Conduct financial analysis and make recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Prepare month end steps ahead of year end
  • Create forecasts and follow their financial management processes
  • Assist with system configuration, implementation and troubleshooting
  • Complete variance and trends analysis to support reporting
  • Assist in regular payment processing, reconciliation and respond to enquiries

Requirements:

  • College diploma or University degree in a finance related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst or equivalent
  • Working towards or completion of a professional accounting designation is required
  • Skilled problem-solver and analytically-minded
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
