Records Management Officer

Records Management Officer

Our regulatory body client is seeking a Records Management Officer to join their team for a long-term interim opportunity, located in downtown Toronto. In this role, the successful candidate will support with the maintenance and retrieval of records and maintain physical and electronic records. In addition, you will be responsible for the implementation and administration of procedures to generate new file/electronic records, ensuring confidential records and information systems are maintained and effectively managed.
Qualifications:
• You have a Post Secondary Diploma in a related discipline, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent (i.e. Degree/Masters of Records and Information Management or Information Sciences);
• You have knowledge of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act;
• You have 2+ years of relevant experience in records information management, filing systems and document management;
• Prior experience implementing a records management process is considered an asset;
• You have a strong ability to prioritize tasks and duties, meet strict deadlines, with an efficient attention to accuracy, detail, and confidentiality.
